Stunningly graphic

I'm not really a fiction reader, but this one gripped me big time, reading Sarah's story gives you great insight into what it was like in the early part of the last century.
Lisa gives amazing details and mixed feelings as if you were transported back to that time and space.
A roller-coaster of mixed emotions and self sabotage with a heartfelt end.
This is a great read and worth 5 stars all day..

Historical Fiction

This is a great book about a strong woman in Sarah and a wonderful read with strongly accurate historic accounts. Author Brown kept me turning page after -- Sarah is fighter -- and if you love a strong character you will love Sarah and her persona resolve.

Looking forward to the next book by Lisa already, this one really transports you to another place and time, so vivid, so well constructed, nice work! I won't spoil the plot for you fine folks ;)
